Over the past ten years Kenny Schachter has curated nearly fifty exhibitions, group and one person, chiefly in uninhabited, temporarily rented venues, though also in galleries and museums here and abroad. The art has ranged from paintings and sculptures only, to multiple projectors employing digital video, film, DVD's and manifold computer components. The exhibits endured through shifting economic cycles beginning on a high note then spiraling to a low ebb and back, with ever more celestial numbers reached for younger artists.

Having showcased about 275 nonaffiliated artists through the years, more than some spaghetti was bound to stick to the wall, and in the process, a sensibility became apparent. What has remained are the extended hours of operation; constantly juggled locations and artists; and, the personal, up-front nature of the manning of the spaces, like a gas station attendant it has been written. And who said Full Service is dead?
